Our client, one of the nation’s largest financial services companies, has a headquarters campus with six buildings, three cafeterias, and 5,000 employees, making new consultants’ first days overwhelming. Busy managers don’t often have time to show new consultants the ropes.
Recognizing the importance of ramping consultants up quickly, Aquent proposed a plan for new consultants that includes a tour of the facility, introductions to other Aquent consultants, and lunch with an Aquent “buddy” (a seasoned Aquent consultant who’s been working at this client’s facility for some time).
Aquent consultants are now acclimated to their new environment quickly, saving time and allowing them to be productive right away. The orientation also gives the consultants an excellent first impression that boosts morale and helps solidify their commitment to helping our client succeed. In addition, our client’s managers are able to focus on their core job responsibilities, leaving important employee orientations in Aquent’s hands. |
